October – November 2019

This issue of ACI Reporter emphasizes ACI’s Talent and Career Development Initiative, focusing on ACI’s first Work and Life Skills Boot Camp, Nov. 9, at Concordia University Chicago, and our annual HR, Diversity and Inclusion Leaders’ complimentary breakfast, Nov. 7, in Chicago, featuring discussions about student career preparation and employer needs. We also include a wrap-up of our Career Development Conference and Employer Expo in October at North Central College, which drew 185 attendees, plus 26 employers and graduate school programs. We announce our CIC/UPS Scholarships for this academic year and a digital media contest we’re working on with 150 Media Stream of Chicago. Our corporate partner, Michael Best, shares information about its higher education practice. We also encourage year-end giving, which can include gifts of stock. Roberto Jordan of Concordia University Chicago, and Brandon Skovronski of Monmouth College are our featured scholars.
