Associated Colleges of Illinois has launched a new partnership with Braven, a national nonprofit that supports underrepresented college students in obtaining strong first jobs after graduation. Through their BravenX program, Braven will provide three years of career development support to college students – including a 14-week career development boot camp, access to 1:1 professional mentors, industry events, and internship/job opportunities with its employer partners.
For the Fall 2024 pilot, Associated College of Illinois will provide full-cost sponsorship for up to 25 students to enroll in BravenX. The four ACI member institutions that have chosen to enroll students in this pilot include Augustana College, Judson University, North Central College, and Rockford University.
Leadership at ACI member institutions will be invited to observe the BravenX program “in action” during the BravenX Virtual Site Visit on October 9th from 5:30-7:00 PM CST. Stay tuned for more information!
For any questions about this partnership, please feel free to check out this recording from our January 2024 information session with ACI member institutions. You are also invited to share your questions with the ACI Team or Enya O’Riordan, Director of BravenX Partnerships & Strategy, at enya.oriordan@bebraven.org.
