ACI Attends the Mackinac Roundtable of Talent

ACI President Gregg Chenoweth of Olivet Nazarene University and ACI Corporate Trustee Toya Garcia-Bradow of William Blair recently joined ACI Executive Director April Arnold at the Mackinac Roundtable on Talent. The event was a dynamic gathering of over 75 academic leaders, 31 sponsors, and 13 regional partners representing higher education, philanthropy, and the corporate world.

A shared commitment to student success resonated throughout the discussions, as it was emphasized that fostering student achievement directly impacts both businesses and the broader economy. It was made clear that ACI’s independent liberal arts institutions are uniquely positioned to equip students with critical thinking skills and adaptability, preparing them to thrive in a rapidly evolving landscape.

A key takeaway from the Roundtable is recognizing and championing the unique contributions each member school brings to the collective effort. Next year’s event will take place on June 22-24, 2025, at Grand Hotel, Mackinac Island.
